After reading the following articles I believe I got a better understanding of the enron scandal. Which is the bankrupcy of the Enron Company which was an energy company in Houstan, Texas. Arthur Andersen was one of the big companies to blame for the fall of Enron due to Andersens lack of responsibilty. Enron's bankrupcy occured in December of 2001. Former CEO Jeffrey Skilling resigned jsut before the company went bankrupt so many people looked at him and he stated he had "no knowledge" of how it even occured.
Billions were lost through this bankrupcy thousands of jobs were lost and companies shutdown.
